EDL Stoke
Filkaler | 24.01.2010 00:16 | Birmingham
Over 1000 members of the right-wing group started drinking from 11am ahead of Saturday's march in Stoke. There were scuffles with police when members of the EDL tried to break a cordon preventing them from clashing with members of anti-fascist groups. They sang the National Anthem and Rule Britannia, while others waved St George and Union flags while shouting abusive chants against Muslims. After the main demonstration a group of around 500 EDL marched thought a predominantly Asian area damaging shops and cars. Stoke on Trent - 23.01.10.

Stoke UAF strategy on the road to failure
24.01.2010 10:40
These racists were able to march through the streets of Stoke attacking Asian people and property with tacit police consent, of course.
It is time for another strategy - to oppose all forms of racism especially state racism, i.e the racism of the ruling party, Labour and the racism of the organs of the British state such as the police rather than focussing on justthe BNP/EDL which is doomed to failure.

The EDL unravels...

"Stoke today was a disaster. We rioted. We throw bottles. We attacked police. Some people were racist.
A total f**king disaster and what were the Leaders doing when are members were causing such unproductive trouble? They were streaming live feeds of speechs which were heckled and ignored in some cases."
"In-EDL fighting
Football firms fighting
Attacking the police
Police equipment stolen.
Police vans turned over.
Lamppost incidents.
Racial chants.
Speeches not being respected.
People not shutting up during a 1 minute silence."
"thats me just arrived back to glasgow, right lads were the f**k do i start, im not gonna sit here and put blame on anyone, but i hope the edl dont end as quick as we have started, to the 2 teams of boys that kicked off in the pub, that was 8 SDL LADS SMACK BANG IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUS, we tried to break it up right away, but the c**ts on the bottom floor throwing s**t did not help, now i dont give a f**k what yous get up to, but when you represent the edl try and put your f**king diffrances aside, cause the next time a c**t throws a chair in my direction, hes getting it right up his arse, for the big majority thanks for giving us a good day out."

Most of the East end& football supporters think edl are a bunch of prats

Thankfully most doormen&footy fans dont like to get involved with groups like EDL & think more cooperatively-mutually.
EDL have proven generally what a nasty bunch of boys they are& people know they are trying to cause trouble, only a matter of time before the more get fed up & shun them.
Its well known al queada are shunned by most of the muslim community, some parts of the taleban in Afganistan now contain elements of left formerly in Northern alliance who have joined the right wing who set it up & united to expel the invasion, this does not mean people there or here support terrorism thankfully. If we used more afghani style consensus politics rather than more western style 2-3 party win or loose then things in Afghanistan would be alot better, everyone would benefit with more consensus style politics & direct democracy, even the corporations laying the pipeline would benefit& maybe one day they could become mutuals
