The UK government should be in a position to carpet-bomb a disaster area with "Disaster Boxes" before organized relief gets there.

Any of our arms making companies could easily produce a "Disaster Box" with a small parachute and sell them on to the government.

The disaster box should contain;

A first aid kit with;

Disinfectant, bandages, anti septic cream ect, ect.

Plus:

14 oz of water.
2 large bars chocolate.
3 Pks. Peanuts (non-salted).
4 Milk in a tin with opener.

This box should weigh no more than 2 kilos and be attached to a small parachute.

It could then be carpet-dropped over a disaster areas like we drop bombs in a war.

The people of the disaster area would not have to wait for humans to arrive before they got their first help.
