Yes that's right! The meeting that could have given West Durrington Consortium the right to destroy a semi- ancient woodland has been postponed.

The meeting that was to take place at Worthings Development Committee on January 28th has been put off until sometime in March. This meeting was an in place for West Durrington Consortium to push for planning permission to develop on Titnore Woods and surrounding farmland. There was a demo planned to take place outside Worthing's Assembly Hall at 5.30pm on the 28th but this is also canceled and will take place in March when the Consortium meet again.
However this should not mean that we put Titnore at the end of our list of priorities. There is now over a month for us to plan and prepare to keep the development off the precious land.
