ideas and information sharing website, anyone interested?

Would anyone be interested in a website integrating members from all parts of the indymedia network and allowing primarily ideas and information to be freely passed around.

Basically i am looking for any suggestions or advice with regards to starting a new webpage to try and intergrate many of the different indymedia communities. After speaking to active members of the indymedia community from across europe and also here in chiapas, the idea came to me to try and create a way to share ideas, techniques and information that, for example is freely used/available in one country or region but is unheard of in many others.

The site is currently is very much the ideas phase and therefore I am looking for help, advice and/or suggestions.

We would be interested in creating an online community based on sharing ideas for projects that may not be 100% possible for those who hold the idea for various reasons, (not the correct environment, not enough local support, lack of intelligence or equipment.) but given the size of the community (and the planet) could be very much 'do-able' for other members in other areas.
Another reason for this is simply to exchange on a global scale techniques and ideas, it came to me when speaking with like minded people in France, Spain and like wise in Mexico, that there is a lot of information which is freely passed around the UK but very little is passed on to the continent or even further. The idea of occupied buildings with creative workshops, being one of the biggest that many people have simply not heard of!

Well, as I have said it is well and truely in the ideas stage so any feedback would be appreciated, please pass me in the direction of any similar sites to what i have explained if possible.
