In the world of the Agatha Christie detective character Hercule Poirot, one of his favourite expressions is that of “order and method”, and that of using ”the little grey cells”, i.e. the brain and a persons intellectual faculties. When looking at the tragic result of the COP15 Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the period of 7.12.2009 and stretching on to 18.12.2009 the result of 193 countries gathering is more than meagre. It’s a mockery of democracy and the lethal situation of climate changes that earth, nature and mankind is confronted with.
WANTED!
Especially it shows a flabbergasting cold heartedness and ignorance with re-gard to the future climate problems that the upcoming generations will be up against. It also seems that the ridicules result mirrors that it was the case of a more or less planned failure, even though that the Danish PM Rasmussen (the new one) and his minister for the climate, Misses Conni Hedegaard, spend millions of euros travelling to different other top leaders for pre nega-tions etc.
One of the interesting matters is though that the head Danish negotiator from the ministry for the Climate, Mr. Thomas Becker, was sacked from his job two months before the COP15 went ahead. Officially it was because of certain “irregularities” with the ministry spending accounts, especially during a stay in some Asian countries. He had a small handful of “official” ministry international credit cards that was “widely used” as it was said. But, that isn’t the full story; the Danish Medias revealed that he was in a severe dis-agreement with the office of the Danish PM Rasmussen, because the overall negotiations strategy of the Danish COP15 presidency was not spearheaded from the Climate ministry but from the PM’s office.
And not necessarily a negotiation strategy that would secure a positive result with regard to the fight against the CO2 emissions etc. No, in the climate of-fice of the Danish PM, that is headed by Mr. Bo Lidegard, the viewpoints on what was important to a great extend was coordinated with the needs of the USA and the American viewpoints. Or in other words; “The Danish puddle” was told what to “bark” from the pit-bull terrier in Washington D.C. It’s the wish of the USA to avoid any binding demands on there CO2 emissions that have ruled the Danish COP15 presidency. The COP15 “script” has been writ-ten in The White house and the Oval Office and performed by the loyal Dan-ish ensemble in Copenhagen.
Another reason for this “fait accompli” is that the present Danish PM Ras-mussen has no little knowledge with regard to the climate, CO2 issue, until two years ago he subscribed widely to the notions of the Danish (still bank-rolled by the Danish government) climate sceptic Mr. Bjorn Lomborg. Apart from that he has no international political experience, and suffers from a kind of Marie Antoinette syndrome. Because, some years before she was be-headed by the French revolutionaries, she is known to have said, in relation to the fact that the people of the city of Paris was starving, “just feed them with cakes”!
The amateurish effort of the Danish PM is furthermore dwarfed by the con-sequences of putting a former county mayor into the “political shoes” with a size that only fits experienced politicians with ingenuity and good manners. But in the Oval Office they knew all this before it all ended in failure.
For the smartly purposes of “finding a fall guy”, the US president, and re-ceiver of the Nobel Prize, Mr. Barack Obama, and his secretary of state Misses Hillary Clinton, managed to frame the PM of The Peoples Republic of China Mr. Wen Jiabao. And it was arranged in a way so the worldwide “audi-ence” would behold China as “the bad guy” like in any cheap Hollywood soap opera. Though in this context be aware of what the USA and EU isn’t telling; a good part of the CO2 emission of China is due to production that is being exported to the USA and the EU etc. Thousands and millions of factories and jobs has been “exported” to China, i.e., the production has. Many EU facto-ries have been moved to China because the proprietors could make “a fistful of dollars more” on the production. So, in fact, a certain portion of the Chi-nese CO2 emission is derived from western companies that have been moved to China.
It must by now be clear to most people living on this earth, no matter of gender, geographical location, religion etc. that the so-called “top politicians” is to massive entangled in mysterious deals and scams to be able to solve the infamous climate problems. Is mankind to have a chance of surviving the coming climate changes, the people must mobilize it self.
Everybody must become a climate activist and take part in the future, if there is to be one! It’s really time that people starts to chose a climate ap-propriate “order and method” of the world. A global “Peoples movement against the climate changes” is much needed.
