REMEMBER GAZA – FREE PALESTINE
Israel invaded Gaza on 27 December 2008 after years of direct occupation. 1,434 Palestinians were killed, over 5,000 injured. Israeli has restricted international aid since the invasion and there is a desperate shortage of clean drinking water, food, medical supplies, power, construction and repair materials, and sanitation. Unemployment is over 50% and 80% of the population is dependent on food aid. Population density – 20,000 per square mile – is among the highest in the world.
