A year since the invasion of Gaza. Vigil on the Town Hall steps from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Please bring candles and holders with you.

Saturday 16th January: January consumer boycott action;
We will be targetting Waitrose and Tesco. Details will be circulated but keep the date free (probable timing: late morning)

Hajo Meyer - Never again for anyone - January 24th 2010
Hajo Meyer, Auschwitz survivor & Palestine solidarity activist: ‘My great lesson from Auschwitz is: whoever wants to dehumanise any other, must first be dehumanised himself. The oppressors are no longer really human whatever uniform they wear.’ ,
7 p.m. Cinema 5; Showroom Cinema, Paternoster Row, Sheffield city centre (opposite the Railway station)

Sheffield Boycott workshop;
Saturday 13th February. 10.30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Quaker Meeting House: James St. (near the Cathedral).
The workshop will focus on the conumser boycott and the campaign against Veolia and will be a chance to discuss our aims and the best way of building the campaign in Sheffield over the next year.
