COP15 will fail, the outcome has already been decided and the people will lose. Big business, as usual, will reap its rewards from the offsetting of emissions and Carbon Trading.

Corporations are not the answer, they are the problem. What happens at a grassroots level after these talks is important – this occupation is the beginning.

This is a solidarity action with those in Trafalgar Square.

if it involves fucking pop-up tents again...

I'll eat my hat!

There's such a thing as blind adherence to a form which long ago outlasted it's form - it was time then to change it into something better, different and more dynamic, rather than just always chasing bigger numbers and bigger headlines...but it's hard when most people now involved have only experienced direct action campaigning through camping!

I hope it's a bit different, and that if there are tents, they are not in the way and dangerous again.
