Conspiracy theories have become a very popular – and influencial - part of political culture in the last 100 years. In our “conspiracy cafe” night we want to discuss the reasons and forms conspiracy theories and the quest to “find the truth behind things” take sometimes.
We'll start the evening with an introduction into the history of conspiracy theories since the late 19th century. There will be some short films illustrating the difference between conspiracy fact and conspiracy theory and then the discussion will open up and probably escalate into a full scale flame war!!
Dress code - tin foil hats & lizard eyes!
