Transiton Nottingham are launching their first bi-monthly market 'Handmade for Christmas'
As well as being able to buy unique gifts direct from producers such as Pat the wood-turner, Wendy the beekeeper, Helen who crafts beautiful silver jewelry there will be opportunities to learn new skills with Transition Sneinton and St Anns, get a few ideas for gifts to give to family and friends for little or no cost.
Ecoworks will be there selling delicious cakes made with produce from their gardens.
Stonebridge City Farm will be selling seasonal produce and plants and holding a workshop on decorating wreaths and craft/colouring activities for the kids.
There will be music from local bands, electricty generating demos from Matt Little of Renewable Energy Innovation, power a bubble machine or lighting using a great renewable source - your own pedal powered energy!
