As Foreign Minister at the time of the Gaza offensive, Livni carries huge
responsible for the atrocities committed by Israeli forces last December and
January and famously said that there was “no humanitarian crisis in Gaza”.

The JNF accumulates land, much of it from displaced Arabs, and leases it
only to Jews. It has a deciding role in the Israeli government’s land policy
and is a major prop in the on-going Israeli apartheid.

The UN, Red Cross, Amnesty International and many other humanitarian
organisations have severely reprimanded Israel for the war crimes
perpetrated in Gaza last December and January. Now one of the major authors
of those crimes is coming to the UK.

We call on all humanitarian and peace activists to demonstrate against the
JNF Conference and Tzipi Livni’s speech on December 13th, so insensitively
and offensively timed just days before the anniversary of the start of the
Gaza attack. Bring banners, flags, placards and a lot of noise.

The location of the Conference venue has not been released yet but check
online nearer the date at Indymedia, ISM London, PSC websites or student
organisation sites as well as the ISM twitter feed for venue details. It may
not be revealed until the day before or even the day of the conference
itself, so be prepared!
