Oxford Rides the Wave of Climate Protests

On Saturday 5th December in Cornmarket, three intrepid climate campaigners braved the weather and the Christmas shoppers to bring a little bit of Climate Action to the streets of Oxford.
The theme, emulated up and down the country by hundreds of thousands of other people taking a message to the politicians and the Copenhagen talks, was the 'Wave', hence the blue colour. Joining the campaigners in Cornmarket, the 'Old Man of the Sea' turned up to let everyone know that he could be in charge if we don't do something now about our lifestyles...
We were also spreading the word, increasingly reinforced by research and even the government, that eating less meat and dairy is good for the planet, our health and of course the animals.
