Police tell UAF to change anti EDL demo

Nottingham police have told United Against Fascism that they cannot now hold their demo against the fascist so called Englis Defence League (EDL)at 10am in the Market Square.
Instead they must gather at 2pm outside the Gala Bingo hall in Maid Marion way and be escorted to theor demonstration point.

why would anyone want to demonstrate outside a bingo hall half a mile away, the market square or Royal Concert Hall?? or are you having a quick game of bingo, popping to do a bit of xmas shopping in the square, then catching a matinee at the Theatre?.....unbeleivable!!

It looks like these demos will effect each other. The campaign to Free Joe Glenton needs to win more soldiers over to opposing the occupation of Afghanistan and opposing racism at home. I expect that the soldiers will support the anti-fascists unless some Trot arsehole screams "scum" at them.
