UEA climate fraud email story censored by Bristol Indymedia

"It's no use pretending this isn't a major blow. The emails extracted by a hacker from the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia could scarcely be more damaging. I am now convinced that they are genuine, and I'm dismayed and deeply shaken by them." Monbiot
In what amounts to censorship of a huge scientific scandal directly effecting the future of global society (including Bristol!) Bristol Indymedia has hidden two articles about the UEA email hack and subsequent debate over the withholding of scientific data relating to global warming and other fraudulent activities at the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit.
This scandal directly impacts all claims that the science of man made global warming is "settled" and therefore effects the claims of activism related to CO2 emissions/climate change and the upcoming Copenhagen conference.
George Monbiot has written in the Guardian yesterday:
"It's no use pretending this isn't a major blow. The emails extracted by a hacker from the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia could scarcely be more damaging. I am now convinced that they are genuine, and I'm dismayed and deeply shaken by them."
and
"There appears to be evidence here of attempts to prevent scientific data from being released, and even to destroy material that was subject to a freedom of information request.
Worse still, some of the emails suggest efforts to prevent the publication of work by climate sceptics, or to keep it out of a report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. I believe that the head of the unit, Phil Jones, should now resign. Some of the data discussed in the emails should be re-analysed"
This really is: "climategate" and as was said over Watergate, the problem was not the crime -
it was the cover up. Bristol Indymedia is certainly pushing and spinning the so called "scientific consensus" on global warming (which in fact does not exist - the science is not settled, in the the causal relationship between human produced carbon emissions and global warming and will probably never be settled - such is the nature of scientific enquiry) - see such stories on BIM as: "COP15 Interview with Cristian Dominguez" etc etc etc.
How can BIM censor and hide such stories? Doesn't this censorship directly contradict the whole purpose and values of Indymedia?
So - if you want to know about this very important story that directly effects the people of Bristol - please read The Guardian or Prisonplanet.com, Infowars etc.
BIM does not want you to know the truth.
