Stitched-Up In Honduras - Workers speaker tour - UK

STITCHED-UP IN HONDURAS | 24.11.2009 15:38 | Education | Globalisation | Workers' Movements | Birmingham | Oxford

Come and hear how together we can fight sweatshops!

Following our historic victory Reyna Martinez, a union organiser at the previously closed Jerzees de Honduras factory, has travelled to the UK to tell her story of mistreatment, death threats and illegal firings that accompanied her attempts to unionise and fight for better conditions.

Also hear Rod Palmquist of United Students Against Sweatshops speak of how together students and workers can resist corporate sweatshop exploitation.

Come and hear how we can fight corporate power!
