2 killed, 4 injured in Israeli attack on Gaza ..... At least two Palestinians have been killed and four others wounded in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip.
Gaza hospital sources announced the reception of two bodies late on Monday, along with four other victims who had received medium to critical injuries, after an Israeli tank shelled the eastern Gaza city neighborhood of Shejaeya.

I have heard from a credible source that there is likely to be another open offensive on Gaza this December, that Israel is likely to go in 'harder and faster' than in January 2009 in order to complete their objectives (whatever they may be) before the international community responds. Whether or not this happens, it makes sense for activists to be prepared to respond immediately to an escalation of the seige against Gaza's residents.

The land has previously been under the control of the British Empire, Ottoman Empire, Egyptian empire, Roman empire, etc. It was dominated in the past by Bedouin tribes but none of this 'Palestine' malarkey.
