Bradford Anti-Vivisection Demo - This Saturday

West Yorkshire Animal Rights Group | 24.11.2009 00:08 | Animal Liberation

Over the past week, demonstrations have been held at the University of Bradford against their vivisection laboratories, which have succesfully brought what is happening to the attention of students and staff alike.Although the vivsection labs at Bradford are small, the amount of suffering inflicted is huge and sickening. We can reveal that animals are routinely starved to force them to perform procedures, mutilated and generally abused.

In one experiment, nursing mothers were forced into cocaine addiction in order to see what they found most attatched to - their offspring or cocaine. Other research includes into the effects of being wounded by a scalpel on scarring, whether animals lose weight when given anti-psychotics and inducing schizophrenia onto rats.

Over the past week, demonstrations have been held at the University of Bradford against their vivisection laboratories, which have succesfully brought what is happening to the attention of students and staff alike.

However, the University of Bradford are reletavely happy with these protests being held up at the campus due to its focus on those who attend there. For this reason, we are calling a protest in Bradford Town Centre this saturday to inform everybody of the animal abuse and torture happening on their doorstep.

Please bring megaphones, placards and banners along and help make this a succesful and effect day. We will be bringing leaflets, banners and petitions.

Meet 11am at Bradford Interchange Station, from where we will be moving onto a more central and visual point.

How long will this campaign last...

Can't hack it amongst the academics who can easily out trance you scientifically, so you're off to prey on the public?

Ah well this campaign will no doubt flop just like the Oxford SPEAK campaign. What ever happened to those nutters? They used to post updates on indymedia up to twice a week then they suddenly stopped. Guess they got bored once they realised the lab was successfully up and running.

Anyway if Luke's other projects *cough* NARN and B & K Universal *cough* are anything to go by he'll get bored of this and go back to his music and squatting nonsense after a week or two.

These Bradford demos certainly have got people rattled - the trolls and stooges are out in force on every article that even mentions it.

Don't bother to engage with them, just mock them and watch the frustration. They see it as a sign of "AR people not being able to debate the issues" but we all know that the comments section of the newswire isn't the place to debate things.

Never mind eh, kiddies - us inferior "non-acedemics" get a laugh out of you.

hohohohoho
