Chanel 4’s Dispatches programme said the pro-Israeli lobby was set to dictate British policy on the Palestinianin/Israeli conflict when the Conservatives win the next election.
More than half of the MPs in the shadow cabinet are Conservative Friends of Israel members, according to the programme.

That means the next Foreign secretary will be a member of Friends of Israel and will do as he is told by them. This rules out William Hague who fell out with CFI after describing Israel's 2006 attack on Lebanon as "disproportionate" and allegedly faced threats to withdraw funding from Lord Kalms, a major Tory donor and CFI member.

David Cameron has already been bought for a measly £15,000 by Poju Zabludowicz, a Finnish billionaire who chairs Bicom (the Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre). Zabludowizc, the film reveals, has business interests in an illegal West Bank settlement. He also gave £50,000 to Conservative Central Office.

The CFI director, Stuart Polak, will run British foreign policy on The Middle East when the Conservatives take over the Government at the next election.

At a CFI dinner this June the Cameron made no mention of the death toll in the Gaza war – 1,370 Palestinians and 13 Israelis. Instead he commended Israel because "it strives to protect innocent life".We will get more of this sort of obsequiousness when he is Prime Minister.
