The Palestinian Health Ministry says there are currently at least one thousand, one hundred cases of people suffering from H1N1 in the West Bank.

In a report issued today the ministry is warning that the number of cases may increase in the West Bank during the winter.

In other news on Monday seven Palestinian civilians were kidnapped by Israeli troops during morning invasions targeting a number of West Bank communities.

Local Palestinian sources reported invasions in the cities of Ramallah, Jenin and Hebron.

The sources added that four of those kidnapped are from Hebron, two are from Jenin and one is from Ramallah. The Israeli army radio announced that all seven kidnapped men were taken to military detention camps for questioning.
