People would think that a building society would treat it's staff well. However one manager at Chelsea Building society scoffed at a member of staff who said they would get a union to fight their side in a disagreement. The manager said "It's been tried before, people who join unions don't last long here".

Disgusting that in 2009 managers think they can bully staff and stop them having the right to organise.
