West Midlands Palestine Solidarity Campaign is organising an important half day conference ‘On War Crimes in Gaza’ on Saturday 28th November. This event marks the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and the forthcoming first anniversary of Israel’s attack on the people of Gaza. Israel's war crimes under humanitarian and international law remain unpunished.
The speakers include the solicitor Phil Shiner who has been instructed by the Palestinian Human Rights organisation Al Haq. He will be addressing the United Kingdom Governments responsibilities under International Law for Israel's breaches of International Law in Gaza . Other speakers include Keith Hammond and Manal Timraz, a Palestinian from Coventry who has family in Gaza and organises humanitarian relief for Gaza.
