Manchester Students support the Postal strike

Over 16 students went down at 7am to picket lines in Manchester to show support for the postal strike.
We were warmly welcomed and spent the morning discussing and chatting with strikers, getting to know about the issues that postal workers are facing. It was the first picket line that many students had visited and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Students and strikers were joined by trade union delegations from Manchester Trades Council and Unison. Members of the NUT and UCU also joined the picket in the morning. Pictures of today’s picket are below.
The strike was solid in Manchester with only managers working.
