"Animal abuse ranged from throwing live newborn rabbits into the bin to slamming live mice into the floor to kill them" - Undercover Investigator

**For Immediate Release**

New animal rights campaign launched against Bristol Zoo dubbed ‘Hell for animals’

Noahs Ark Zoo Farm, Clevedon Road, Wraxall, Bristol will become the target of regular pickets outside as part of a campaign aimed at closing down the zoo.
A coalition of animal rights activists based in the west of the UK said today that they will be launching a hard hitting, yet legal campaign against the farm after seeing the horrific animal cruelty exposed there by and undercover investigator working for the BBC and The Captive Animal Protection Society. The campaign will consist of regular pickets outside the farm asking people to boycott the farm and email and phone alerts in which activists will be asked to contact both the farm and its suppliers.
The campaign will be asking all those who advertise the farm to stop and will also be contacting local schools asking them not to take their children on school trips. Both the extreme animal cruelty uncovered and extreme religious views forced upon its unsuspecting visitors are completely unacceptable and although WARN are an animal rights group we will be closing down the zoo for both of these are reasons. Groups across the UK, including pro science groups against what the zoo is teaching children, have already called for the zoo to be closed and now we will be hitting them hard and will put the pressure on them to close.

Here are 3 good reasons we believe Noahs Ark Zoo should close:

1. Animal Cruelty: Although from the outside animal husbandry apears to be good, an undercover investigation into the zoo revealed all this to be a veil for a zoo that has no respect for the animals in its care. Animal abuse ranged from throwing live baby rabbits into a bin to feeding milk to the lambs when they knew full well the lambs were at an age now too old to digest it causing bloating and in one case death. The reason the gave to the undercover investigator was only that “kids like to feed the lambs” a clear sign they put money and profits above the welfare of animals in their care.

2. More Animal Cruelty: NAZ was also exposed breeding tigers for the ‘Great Bitish Circus’ a Circus repeatedly condemned by the RSPCA and repeatedly exposed for extreme animal cruelty.

3. Extreme religous views forced upon visitors: Anthony Bush owner of NAZ has no interest in teaching children about animals, not in line with the education system in this country anyway, instead he chooses to under mind this by promoting his personal creationist agenda. That is, as soon as you have payed and entered. His beliefs run so strong he is even quoted as saying that if men had too much freedom they would no longer marry woman and instead all turn gay or into pedophiles ; two things he seems to think are the same. Surely this is not the attitude of a man we should be trusting our children with. Homophobia is not an acceptable character trait. He is also quoted saying that “parents rush out screaming [if they] object to what we are saying”. Something that must come as no surprise.

More information about the undercover investigation is available on request.
