Climate rush: peoples being pulled over by filth on route.

ARA | 16.10.2009 20:41 | Climate Chaos | Energy Crisis | Repression

activists not even heavily involved in climate change campaigns have been pulled all over.

Activists from Worcestershire where subject to a very strange ANPR stop and after a bit of probing into the cops motives it seems this may be the reason. also activists near Nottingham have been pulled over and have been told this is the case. looks like the filth are shitting it haha. lets give them reason to!

Of course they're scared about a mass publicised action they've known about for weeks in advance.
All the workers at Ratcliffe have probably been given the day off work weeks ago!

How about trying to fight one of the many open cast coal mines that are being worked on at the moment instead of doing some stupid media action that isn't effective.

"Stop Climate Change"
How?

The failed attempt to sound like a militant activist by the person above (they never really get in our mindset) and the fact that it does not actually provide any concrete info on anything. (No shit cops pull people on open action!!!) Makes me think that the only thing this post achieves is paranoia spreading. It is subtly hierarchical (by implying that the filth are even pulling the less committed) in a way that actually reflects cop misunderstanding of decentralised organising.

Even if the poster isn’t filth it achieves nothing and has no news worthiness or use to the people preparing to swoop! Any chance anyone can take this down.

Any way good luck swoopers you’re already all over the mainstream press and don’t let the odd cop get in your way.

People were stopped

Animal rights activists in Worcestershire (also active in climate demos) who were not going to the demo and others who were going both had vehicles pulled. Not unusual I know but I think that the point of this post was maybe to warn other activists to be prepared. I fail to see how stating the obvious i.e that some people are more active in the climate change movement is in any way "elitist". If animal rights activists who are only periherally involved in other movements are being pulled it is logical to draw the conclusion that those heavily involved might be more at risk of being stopped.
