We have a problem in stevenage

It looks like the plans for exspanding the Bioscience campus in stevenage will be going ahead, all supported by GSK. From the sounds of thing we have a year befor work starts now how do you think we can stop/delay this, ideas please.

HLS is expanding as well - were is the money coming to fund this?

The best way of stopping this is to identify the builders (or if you are early enough planners and architects) and convince them not to build.

I have heard the rumours about HLS expanding but have not seen any evidence - from what i ? have seen they are in a horrific financial position. Where is the proof (or even the hint)

We can olny assume that they have seeing as there talking about work starting in a year.

and the moneys coming from £11.7m from the UK Strategic Investment Fund. On top of the £11.7 SIF funding for the project, GlaxoSmithKline has granted £10.9m; The Wellcome Trust has committed £6m; the Technology Strategy Board is providing £5m and EEDA will look to contribute £4m

It will house up to 25 companys so no dout we will be getting the worst of the wosrt scum i.e
Bayer Astrazenica ect.
