lisbon voting

The Lisbon treaty replaces the Irish constitution and is a replacement of the old European union. Now there are no more countries in Europe, only states. The only ones to vote were the Irish and the voting was rigged.

We had to vote with a soft pencil and were not allowed to use a pen. The votes went into the ballot box but this box was not sealed properly (brown piece of paper used as a string) and there was no lock on it. Someone videotaped the boxes being carried into the counting office and one person was assigned to carry one box and there was no one overseeing or accompanying them so they could have swapped the contents and no one would have known. One box was even carried out before the counting began. Someone just walked away with it.
On the streets when handing out information leaflets well over 80% of the people said they would vote no. only a few people would vote yes. A few more, around one in ten, did not bother to go voting they said. But the official figures were that only 30% went voting and of these 30% two thirds voted yes. that is completely opposite from what was heard and said on the streets. People were very moved by this voting and they really hoped for a no vote because they feel so strong about this.
