Eviction of Eritrean Squat, Calais, France

just red | 01.10.2009 16:35 | Migration | World

Today No Borders activists demonstrated outside the Eritrean house, which was evicted yesterday.

Migrants in Calais face constant repression and their homes are being constantly evicted. French and UK governments are colaborating to clear the streets of Calais, without giving them a suitable alternative.
Whilst applying for asylum in France, migrants receive no services and no income and are not allowed to work.
