Demo report

Yesterday, activists protested outside the Home Office immigration offices in Derby city centre to show solidarity with migrants in Calais following the destruction of the 'Jungles' last week, and in opposition to the on-going oppression of those whose only crime is to attempt to move freely across borders. Fliers were handed out to passers by (see below) and also distributed inside the immigration offices.

Further protests are planned at the immigration offices, every last Monday of the month at 12pm. More details to be posted nearer to the time.

In the meantime, there is a No Borders meeting planned for 6pm this Thursday at The Square Centre, Alfred St North, just off Mansfield Rd. Come along to help continue our response to the situation in Calais and other consequences of border control by international and state authority.
