Agree, fair play to Sukant. Though don't underestimate that the EDL will get bigger, its only a matter of time that is unless there is considering involvement against them from their own "community". As Sukant was saying, its need other white working class people to step to the fore and confront them by any means neccesary. Hopefully that will be the case with Manchester and Newport - come on Anarchists and Antifa!

The more this is issue is seen as whites vs muslims the greater division and there are people in BOTH of those "communities" that want that - the Salafists and Nationalists.

Fairplay to the youing muslim lads for defending their religion against criticism and some form of physical protest, but what the fuck this has got to do with anti-fascism is beyond me.

From my experiences in brimingham and harrow these young muslim lads don't need the help of anti-fascists to deal with the edl.

Personally i think anti-fascists fetishising the edl marks them down as being totally fucking clueless and impotent when it comes to dealing with the real danger [the BNP] of fascist rhetoric taking hold amongst the disenfranchised, pissed off and politically alienated white working class against the real enemy [the new labour government in power] who have spent the last 12 years implementing most racist social policy imaginable on behalf of capitalism.
