Some people have raised doubt about the evidence of these claims so on Saturday there will be a public meeting organised by some of us who have been involved so far where the evidence in full will be available to be seen. This will be at the SUMAC Centre, 245 Gladstone Road Nottingham NG7 6HX starting at 7pm.
The evidence is paper and IT based and a computer will be made available for any that want to see the technology trail that was generated, none of the evidence will be available to be copied or removed.
Travel Details
Buses 67 & 68 (yellow line), circular routes from Trinity Square to Hyson Green, run along Berridge Road. Get off at the junction with Foxhall Road, by 'Screaming Carrot' vegan bakery and walk up to Gladstone Street.
Buses 69/70/71/72/87 from Trinity Square, run up Mansfield Road and Sherwood Rise. Ask for the Berridge Road stop and walk as above.
From the Broad Marsh Bus Station, near the Railway Station, buses 80/81/82 go via Parliament St, by the Victoria Centre, through Canning Circus and along Alfreton Road to Radford Road, where there is a stop at the west end of Gladstone Street, by the police station. A 4minute walk along Gladstone Street gets you to the centre.

how are people going to present evidence obtained ilegally at a public meeting?
and baring in mind he is a member of fascist thug organisation the england defence league, who is going to slag him off to his face.
why do i have a feeling that the accusations are going to be left with one person.
eh?

I'm sure The Common Place could host such an event - not all of us have the means to get down to Nottingham.
Thanks

Since the Common Place are currently blocking antifascist meetings that hardly seems likely. Maybe this piece of shit isn't the only police informant.

My ignorance in this matter does not mean I'm in anyway collaborating with the state - if you have made this erroneous assumption then go fuck yourself.

If a political activist in this country was sent down on evidence that has been presented here you'd all be up in fucking arms and quite rightfully so. Maybe all trials should be put through indymedia and then no one could complain if they were found guilty on what anonymous posters have said.
Thank fuck we still have a legal system here because I for one would rather take a chance through that then what I've seen on here.
Personally if you don't trust that Matt geezer or his partner then quite simply don't deal with him. If you do trust them that is your own choice. Whatever you choose is then down to your own judgement. Then that should be the end of it!

Other groups directly involved have seen the evidence and support the outcome - hence the Antifa statement.
What more do you actually want? What could be posted on Indymedia that would actually satisfy you - I notice you are silent about that?
No doubt if the stuff was not distributed then you'd would be moaning just as much!
The most important thing is that proven informers are exposed and that information is distributed as widely as possible.

This would be a very stupid thing to do

Erm, have any of you heard of the Regualtion of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA)? It's something that anyone with any real knowledge of ICT security knows very well, but apparently not these super-sleuths.
To simplfy, what you need to know is that it's a serious crime to perform the kind of investigation that is claimed to have taken place here without Home Office approval. So if you publicly demonstrate what you've done to gain this evidence, you can expect to go down. For a long, long time. Sentencing guidelines put RIPA on a par with the OSA (official secrets act).
Unless, erm, you HAD Home Office approval? Just think about that for a second folks....
That's before you even start to think about the violation of the human rights act (right to privacy, right to a fair trial) and data protection act.
But then, hey, this is antifa, so I expect you've already thought of all that, right? Your powers of deduction are so great that when the cop walks through the door of the SUMAC to see who's infringing RIPA, you'll know straight away, right?

I still don't know what to make of this story and further speculation seems pointless until we have more evidence. I still think it could be some sort of bizarre hoax but if it does turn out to be true then it really is very creepy and disturbing.
I wish I could get to the meeting but it is too short notice and too far for me to travel by public transport. As I mentioned in an earlier comment, a lot of crap gets posted on Indymedia and it is always crawling with trolls so if anyone is unsure about how reliable my comments are, Patrick at Veggies / Sumac Centre knows me.
