Jam making, consensus decison making etc. - this is as poor as any of the other subcultural scenester haunts going at the moment. I thought there was a large section of the AF in sheffield? How has the program of this place already become a parody of what radical politics is about - why isn't someone suggecting events and ideas that would actually be useful to mass struggle?

Everyone's got to have a hobby though, eh?

[N.B. - I bet this comment gets deleted even though all the remarks by nazis and trolls on other threads stay up...]

why do you have to piss all over what someone else is doing?

Subcultural Scenesters?

So we're subculture scenes for trying to set up a radical non-hierarchical space?

There ARE plans for more events, the calendar is a draft list of things that are already sorted out. Recently we've also confirmed a discussion on unemployment, the radical history of sheffield, discussions around setting up a no borders group, and more.

If you want to see more radical politics then why not contact us and ask questions, get involved and get radical!

radical or radical

maybe you don't understand how useful these activities are. how can we have radical social change without getting to know each other and learning how to work together? how can we be a movement which will force society into a better shape without eating...?? maybe you're able to function without food or friends or fun but i know i can't. We can talk about theory til we go blue in the face and read text written by middle aged bearded men all we like but we need to make change happen and we can't do that a s individuals and we can't do that without considering how to live sustainably, how to work in groups together.

it is important to have some radical workshops going on, but if you don't like what you see then why not come along and put on something yourself, you obviously have a lot of interesting things to say, im sure many people would be interested in coming along :)

but let's be honest, just slagging off what other people are doing isn't going to get anyone anywhere, especially not yourself. come down and join us!!!

"why isn't someone suggesting events and ideas that would actually be useful to mass struggle?"

Go on then...
