This year has seen unspeakable atrocities in Gaza, the continuing occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, and countless deaths of innocent civilians. But we’ve also seen a resurgence of student activism, from university occupations to riots in Kensington, and a good few bouts of shoe-throwing along the way.

This is why now, more than ever, is the time to build a vibrant and diverse anti-war movement. We invite you all to attend the annual Stop the War student conference on the 19th September in central London; as well as a talk from Ilan Pappe, the renowned anti-Zionist historian, and eyewitness reports from Afghanistan, there will be a variety of workshops on Islamophobia, Afganistan and Palestine among others.
