World Week of Action Against Max Mara
Max Mara Campaign | 02.09.2009 18:23
Max Mara is one of the most fashionable pret-a-porter brands worldwide, a classic style and a renowned company, but it hides a harsh reality… the fur trimming on their clothing comes from animals imprisoned, gassed, electrocuted and skinned.
In september MMFG's stores will be once again filled with fur coats and fur trimmed clothing, products of suffering and violence against animals.
But we will be there to give a voice to these animals and show our opposition to the bloody fur industry!
The MaxMara Campaign so far reached 16 different countries with more than 300 demos in 10 months, most of them in Italy, where the company is headquartered.
We are launching a global week of action asking groups and individuals to take part in this campaign and give their support, being it with a demo, a symbolic action or just leafletting in front of a store. Every action counts and will add pressure on this company!
On the week from september 14 to 20 there will be demos in front of Max Mara and Max&Co stores worldwide to continue the campaign with a clear message: there will be demos and a boycott campaign on a global level untill there will be no more fur in MMFG collections!
