and the role of Greece in destroying refugees and migrants rights for the rest of Europe


Twelve kilometres from Turkey the island of Lesvos is a place of embarcation for migrants wishing to reach Europes shores . This first step is one littered with dangerous obstacles . Europes migration management system frontex guides with its helicopter its own boat and two Greek patrol boats to intercept migrants who attempt the perilous journey . There have been 1,100 deaths over twenty years, as the cooperation becomes more coordinated Once here they are systematically imprisoned in an old warehouse for storing goods not people, instead of two hundred it is supposed to take , there are over 1000 men women and children held there in impossible conditions.

We are here to cry out against this obscenity ! for a world without borders that recognises we are one people and that capitalism is destroying the world for all of us , migrants are trying to escape to avoid being among the first victims . Greece now has No Asylum system , the UNHCR have pulled out and now only the Police who beat them handle people cases , there is no right of appeal and a near one hundred percent rejection rate, but Europe says nothing as Greece is doing its dirty work for it. While Frontex cordinates the militarisation of Europes borders, the'first safe third country rule' otherwise known as the Dublin 2 convention means that people must claim asylum in the Greece a country which receives Iraqis and Afghans fleeing terrible situations , must claim aylum in a country that will not offer it to them at all. Their fingerprinting are forcibly taken and put on schengens Eurodac , this effectively destroys there chances of claiming asylum anywhere else
