British National Party BNP held its annual `Red, White and Blue` rally at a farm just outside Codnor in Derbyshire on the weekend of August 14th – 16th 2009. About 2000 folks demonstrated against this event.

About 2000 folks demonstrated against this event. Police had been granted orders under the Public Odger Act 1986. This defined the march route, and created 2 "Designated Protest Points" in Codnor Market Place and on Codnor-Denby Lane, 250 metres short of the entrance to the RWB events. Some made and effort to push past the police cordon there. This was reinforced a number of times, eventually deploying horses and dogs. A few arrests resulted, but no serious injury.

A total of 19 people were arrested at various locations. Three have been charged with public order offences and a fourth with unlawfully obstructing the highway. The police operation cost around £500,000 and involved more than 500 officers, many from other forces, on the mutual aid scheme.

Police surveillance was very much in evidence [as ever]. With the FIT, EG teams, the helicopter and now the shiny new drone, local force are thinking of buying ......

... is that GMB steward a few pictures down doing? We all know the coppers are bastards, but this guy is supposed to be on our side(ish). This scab bastard should be kicked out. I believe in unionising and am and active union member, but we seriously need to sort our unions out, firstly by getting rid of colaborationist beurocrats and pricks like this.

Why do you protest against the British National Party? They are just a political party like any other. What harm have they ever done? What harm were they doing by holding a festival in the middle of a field?

The BNP are a fascist party which sympathese with past fascist and ultra-nationalists movements. Why do you think the BNP would invite the leader of the extreme neo-fascist Forza Nuova Roberto Fiore to speak at the RWB? IF you did not know already, Roberto Fiore has been part of an armed fascist cell which was responsible for the bombing of the Bologna rail station in 1981 which killed 85 people including two British backpacking students. Forza Nuova members regularily are involved in street actions and acts of violence against young alternative students, immigrants and roma. Some of their members have been convicted of murder.

For all the talk of the BNP being a respectable party it has shown itself with the RWB that they are the same money grabbing, fascist nut cases that they always have been. They are not just a reactionary political party (like all mainstream parties) but a fascist party with an electoral strategy. Give them an inch and they will take a mile.

The message should be clear - Lets declare war with the BNP.

Now.. I never thought I would see the day when I would praise News of the World for their journalistic integrity and prowess, but I now have to swallow my pride.

Having said that, maybe us anarchists aren't much better. I was at a bonfire night party a few years ago and I went into the garden to find the kids had crafted a miniature replica of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. At midnight their anarchist parents handed them accelerants which they duly used to burn said Houses of Parliament to the ground, a la V for Vendetta.

The police were right to stop you so called anti-fascists from getting to the BNP festival because if you had got there you would have psychically attacked people attended that event and destroyed property. There were families there at that event with young children. They would have been terrified and traumatised by the violence you intended to unleash. What gives you so called anti-fascists the right to go around assualting and beating people up because they belong to a party that you don't agree with?

The sight of 100 unwashed lesbians and pricks matching up a road surrounded by police had the BNP stewards at the gate and the perimeters laughing into their campfires. Do the mass of vermin led by a pigmy calling themselves UAF not yet realise that the police were not there to protect the BNP they were there to protect the marchers.What exactly do you think would happen if you tried to storm the front gate.You tried to get through the perimetre.Even the overweight dykes would disappear up their own arseholes with fear.Exactly the same as last year when a dozen antifa tried to get to the festival.They got so far saw their opposition and waited in a field to be arrested.But thanx to your disgraceful actions in a quiet village you boosted the membership of the BNP by 21 as the locals were queueing up to join. Did you have the desired effect.Did the big gormless twat with the skinhead from Barnsley college manage to loose his virginity with some freespirit calling herself Petal. I doubt it. The truth of the matter is you came you shouted you took a pasting then you fucked off,but you were entertaining.
