A statement by the English Defence League we are not racist or fascist!

A lot of miss-information has recently been put out about the English Defence League saying that we are racist and fascist and linked to the BNP. Nothing could be further from the truth. The EDL has always clearly stated that it is open to all people what ever their race or religon.
In the video below EDL members explain that the group is purely about opposing the rise of Islamic extremism and has no political agenda.

You might claim to be non-racist but lets face it, judging by the rambling of your minions on your webshites..... you are mostly populated by casuals who like fighting/ getting a kicking and RACISTS.
Sort your own house out before coming over here and spewing shite.

I agree with a lot of the sentiments of EDL; Muslim extremism is something that needs to be countered in the UK, in my opinion radical Islam is as bad as fascism (as is most religious bigotry).
BUT, after checking the EDL out further, all becomes clear. Chris Renton, one of the organisers (the guy behind 'EDL South'), is a BNP activist. I have also been told by EDL people that there are plenty of BNP activists involved in the group. Whether the EDL has official connections with the BNP or not is irrelevent, there are plenty of BNP activists within EDL and that is enough. A look around many of the EDL/BNP facebook pages will confirm this. It also becomes clear that other right-wing hooligan elements/and also fascist organisations (NF & BFF) have been involved in EDL actions.
If the EDL are not political, as they state, then why have they taken up clearly political issues? They have also stated their opposition to 'immigrants who are taking over our country,' and also 'Reds' and anti-fascist groups such as the UAF and others.
I'm sorry, but no matter how much you deny it, the truth is out there. You are (on the whole) a bunch of narrow minded bootboys, with some very unsavoury links to BNP activists and other fascists.
