A Hiroshima/Nagasaki Commemorative Social is to be held on Saturday 8th August - 7.00 onwards at the Sumac Centre
A social evening to include a session from the Ragged Ramblers jazz/swing band followed by readings, poetry, singing from hopefully Pauline and Yvonne and the Clarion Choir and classical music played by Dale on his guitar.
Please do try and come down and tell your friends. If you feel you would like to participate in the event with a reading, poem song/piece of music of your own please let us know by email to D.H.Lunz@btopenworld.com
The event is organised by Nottingham CND to remember the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima on 6th August and Nagasaki on 9th August 1945.
Everybody welcome, the bar will be open for refreshments etc.
