Glasgow-born computer hacker Gary McKinnon has lost his latest High Court bid to avoid extradition to America where he faces trial for hacking into US military networks.
His lawyers argued that extraditing the 43-year-old, who suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, would lead to "disastrous consequences" for his health, including possible psychosis and suicide.
Jack Straw, who stopped the extradition of the murderer and torturer, Pinochet - on health grounds - could rule that this alien spotter not be extradition on the same grounds.
But Straw knows that alien spotting is a far worse offence than murder, rape and torture.

And furthermore, since it's impossile to be accountable to two legistatures concurrently, and given that US jurisdiction now evidently reigns supreme on our fair isle, UK law is thus rendered obsolete. Therefore, the recent ruling against the defendent is surely invalid?

This is ridiculous.

Many of the accusations were made public through the media - including the badly redacted "secret" indictment documents - rather than through diplomats. Quite clearly a vulnerable adult is being made an example of for no other reason than the US Military are capable of doing so.
