Friday 31st July - Monday 3rd August: Highgate farm in Lincolnshire,
breeding rabbits for the vivisection industry. Protesters have camped
outside. If anyone can spare some time to visit the camp, it would be
much appreciated as the current campers have to leave soon. For more

Saturday 1st August: 12:00. Right to protest protest. The council
are attempting to ban peaceful protests in Market square. This is
obviously a major attack on our civil liberties. Numbers needed. Meet

Saturday 1st August: 13:30. Beeston unfortunately has a new exotic
pet shop. Plan is to highlight to the public the animal welfare/rights
issues associated with the exotic pet trade. Meet outside the place
which is near the Hop Pole pub on the main high street beyond the
square on the way out to Chilwell. Contact Martin (07838400077).
Sunday 2nd August: Street collection for Animal Protection Agency
( http://www.apa.org.uk/) who focus amongst other things on the exotic
pet trade. Contact Katie (07533739565) or Rob to help out. Currently
short of numbers.
Wednesday 5th August: 15:00. Harlan greet the workers demo (breeders
for the vivisection industry). Transport from Nottingham. Meet outside
the Royal Children pub on maid Marion way. Or make your own way to

Thursday 6th August: 18:30. Brinsley Animal Rescue , work evening.
Help your local animal sanctuary. Transport from Beeston (or make your

A reminder that the meeting this week is at Broadway Cinema, meet in the
Mezz bar (room at the end), to start meeting 20:00 sharp. Prior to the
meeting, if any wants to help with a bit of McLeafletting, meet outside
Clumber street branch at half six.
