Animals are being used in the Maniratnam film Raven, these animals might be registered with the Animal Welfare Board of India as per law of the land................




Maniratnam busy with his Raven film shooting in Kerala, animals are being used in this films and these animals might be registered with the Animal Welfare Board of India as per section 38 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. Today Elephant killed his master very brutally on Raven film set in the forest of Trissur in Kerala. Naresh Kadyan, representative of the International Organization for Animal Protection - OIPA in India wrote AWBI to withdraw / cancel the permission for Raven film, legal action against offenders as well. He further asked to inquire whether guidelines were followed by the concerned team or not and which Vet / representative of AWBI was present during this shooting?
