Global warming is aglobal issue: oh do tell.

Bezdelnik | 30.07.2009 04:38 | Climate Chaos | World

I did not know that global warming was a global issue. Sincerest thanks to "bob" who as alereted us to this wonderful conception. Clearly anyone who dares impinge on the solid brains of UK indymedia readers by daring to suggest that "Global" warming may actually refer to the earth on as whole is off the planet (lucky soul)

I refer to "bob" a name spelt the same backwards and forwards, just as some comments (namely his) are the same read backwards or forwards.

His criticisms of a hidden post on Global warming must be answered.

1. The data do show increased summer warming and increased winter cooling.
(does this deserve the caustic criticism it has received?)

2. The hidden article does not suggest that global warming is not a global issue.
(Clearly the catch phrase "global issue" really has fried some reader's brains)

3. The main criticism of global warming IS that some areas of the earth are cooling.
(this must be answered by those who believe global warming is real (however "bob" would prefer that people would just shut up)

4. Many of Zagovor's newsires have been reposted on scientific sites, not without criticisms from equally arrogant stiff-necks such as BOB

5. To sarcastically suggest that a contributor has a "planet-size" brain may be a sign of something more elemental in bob's unfortunate anatomy.

6. Perhaps all attempts at stimulating discussion on a major issue (see Paul Watson's commentary on this) should be hidden so that our readers can keep their eyes dry (just like most other parts of their anatomies.
