Online Appeal to save the Mansour family from deportation

John O | 27.07.2009 06:51 | Migration | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements | World

The family were detained on the 1st July and incarcerated in Tinsley House IRC. They made Bail last Friday and were returned to Manchester.

The family came to England 4 years ago from Egypt because they feared for their lives. They have suffered persecution and worse from religious fundamentalist groups and the police department because of their Christian beliefs. They believe that their lives and those of their 5 young children are at risk if they return to Egypt.

Please continue to support this family as there is still a lot to be done to ensure their security and safety.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the the British Government to reconsider the deportation of the Mansour family. There are many controversial issues in this case and we believe that their human rights have been infringed.
