Brian Haw - day 2,970 of his magnificent protest!

Here are 13 photos (copyleft) of Brian Haw's continuing presence outside the Houses of Parliament.

Brian Haw – day 2,970 in London’s Parliament Square!

Brian Haw has been on his magnificent demonstration against war for over 8 (eight) years now. Next month on Wednesday August 19th he will clock up an astonishing 3,000 days (and nights) of living in Parliament Square opposite the `mother of all parliaments. `

His website:  http://www.parliament-square.org.uk/

I saw him on the weekend of Saturday 4th July when I was down in London from Edinburgh to wish him well and I attach 13 photos.

I really hope the media take some interest on his 3,000th day. Surely he is more deserving of a mention in the news than all those corrupt MPs across the road who spend all day filling in expense forms claiming for thousands of pounds on the third home that they forgot they didn’t have. Brian's home is a tent and his level of corruption is when a well wisher gives him the price of a cup of tea!

See you all in the Square on August 19th.
Paul.

Is there any difference between an occupation and a semi permanent habitual residence? It's about time Brian and his scruffy chums got a job and moved on, with there dirty rag banners smearing one of the most beautiful scenic spots of London, all sponsored and funded unfortunately by us, the hard working taxpayer.

It doesn't seem to be working? Perhaps its time to go back to the drawing board and come up with a different strategy.

Daily Mail reader what are you doing here? Go back to whence thou came.

Brian has got a job. Its the job of justice, truth and peace. It isn't very well paid and there's no scope for diddling of expenses but its fine work nonetheless.

Look, we know your lot didn't do too well over Iraq. Lets face it, you lost.

But if your going to have another run at it over Afghanistan then shouldn't you try to convince us you learnt something?

Came back again and have another run at it. This time try to pay attention.

Troll squasher.

Hans Von Sponeck sends Brian his good wishes

Former United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator for Iraq Hans von Sponeck sends Brian his best regards. He wanted to post the following comment but found his message blocked. Here it is:

`Dear Paul,
I wanted to make a comment and tell Brian Haw that I continue to salute him. Unfortunately when I tried to use the comment column you have included, I was told that it is blocked - long live democracy! All good wishes, Hans`

Hans von Sponeck spoke at the World against war conference in London in December 2007:

Well done Brian

What a fantastic ambassador for truth and peace! Every time those parliamentary war criminals leave their work they see his banners shaming them for what they are. I saw Brian the other day down there when there was also a Falun Gong demonstration going on. Keep up the good work!
