British troops will officially end combat operations in Helmand province after the election of some more drug lords in September '09.

Speaking from Downing Street Brown will said: "Today marks the closing chapter of our combat mission in Helmand and I have hung the banner I borrowed from Bush in Downing Street.

He went on “We need not feel bad about legging it from Afghanistan as we went there to invade and take over - without firing a bullet.”
