Oxford peace activist nun sentenced.

Local activist, Sister Susan Clarkson, has been sentenced to 21 days in prison for refusing to pay fines relating to a previous sentence of criminal damage.

Yesterday, Catholic Worker Sister Susan Clarkson was sent down for 21 days for her part in the Northwood Military Headquarters demonstrations. Details of the action can be seen on London Indymedia:  https://london.indymedia.org/articles/876

Apparently, this is 2 sentences of 14 days to run concurrently for charges relating to a previous case where she refused to pay, and 2 sentences of 7 days to run concurrently for later charges. Both relate to criminal damage to military establishments.

She is in Bronzefield Prison in Middlesex. You can write to her there, but it is unlikely that she will be able to organise visitors passes in the time available. She will be eligible for release in 10 days, probably. Details are:
