Gunshoots in Athens downtown. Three injured immigrants. This is fascism.

11 July 2009, Athens, Greece: Comrades (and the media) report three important incidents:

First, someone fired a gun against the cops (no injuries).

Second, someone from his car fired gunshoots against immigrants, injuring three. They were taken to a hospital by an ambulance.

Third, fascists set multiple floors of a building occupied by homeless immigrants (the Efetio) on fire.

All these happened in the centre of Athens. Comrades are sure that the perpetrators of these attacks were fascists, including the gunshoot against the cops.

This is fascism. Will the people answer back?

This night is neverending!

At 4 o'clock morning, comrades set up a big banner in a city square in Argiroupoli, Athens to remind people of the murder of 15-year old Alexandros Grigoropoulos by cops:  http://athens.indymedia.org/front.php3?lang=el&article_id=1056869

At 4 o'clock morning, an explosive device was exploded outside the home of a former politician, Chynofotis, at Paleo Faliro, Athens.

And then the offices of the fascist and theocratic LAOS (Popular Orthodox Rally) political party were attacked as an answer to the fascist attacks.

What next?

tension being played out in Greece like that in radical italy afew decades back.
The anarchist movement can grow & be effective or it can be momentartily famous U& fizzle out in wave of violence.
The call has to be not for more social & economic democracy as well as justice for police atrocities, the fascists are hiding behind "democracy".
Lets expose them, anarchism & direct democracy are the roots of what little democracy we have, be proud of it, they want violence.

Stop the Strategy of Tension,
protest, build& vote for a radical party that will increase democratic rights
