call a spade a spade

can't help with any of those items, sorry. i think you need to learn your terminology though. by hay bales, i'm guessing you mean straw bales? so does it matter? well yes. one is a meal and one is a bed. if you were to try and blag bales off a farmer, you'd be much more likely to be given straw which is nearer to a waste product than hay which is a valuable feedstuff for keepings animals alive during winter.

A big marquee for use as a communal space would come in handy too

If anyone has an old big marquee they don't want knocking around then that would come in very handy as a big communal space for site meetings etc. Especially now the bad weather is on its way.

Bad moon on the rise?

'Especially now the bad weathers on the way'
Ha ha, love it, it's July ffs!!! Come on, what's next under floor heating and hot water bottles? - show some initiative, the world is watching. After festivals many tents and poles are discarded and thrown away, if sewn together using strong twine (like a patch-work quilt) and the poles extended by knotting the elastic chord together, a large dome could be constructed similar to a bender. Litter pickers at festivals come across these materials by the skipful --- recycling? Well done to the camp '...we're in for nasty weather...'
