Subject to a control order since 2005 on the basis of secret evidence he and his lawyers cannot see, former victim of Israeli torture Mahmoud Abu Rideh has been driven to despair. He has a hearing at the High Court in London on Friday 3 July to allow him to leave this country (he cannot even do that much) to escape this arbitrary, unfair regime.

On July 3rd, Mahmoud Abu Rideh, a Palestinian detainee, will be at the High Court on the Strand as part of his attempt to end his years of detention without charge in the UK by leaving this country. His wife and children recently left the UK, unable to survive living under Control Order any longer.

But he needs travel documents in order to leave and is taking this issue to court.

He hopes to attend the hearing on Friday and we need to give our support.

So please join us in a PROTEST : 9.15 – 10.00 am.

Royal Courts of Justice,

Strand.

His case has had much media coverage lately and the press are expected.

Please bring banners, placards, as many people as possible!

Organised by Peace and Justice in East London and the Muslim Prisoner Support Group
