It's a pity that many people grasp Sunland too superficially. In fact, this project is very important due to its implicit philosophical, anthropological significance. There are some important questions. Whether people of the modern world are capable to set and pursue spontaneous goals? Whether their desire for full, free, true life is alive? Or their goals are fully inspired by the “hyperreality” (a French philosopher Jean Baudrillard's term), by omnipotent media brain-washing machine? Whether the existence of modern people is entirely determined by the "a priori" format?

It's a pity that many people grasp Sunland too superficially. In fact, this project is very important due to its implicit philosophical, anthropological significance. There are some important questions. Whether people of the modern world are capable to set and pursue spontaneous goals? Whether their desire for full, free, true life is alive? Or their goals are fully inspired by the “hyperreality” (a French philosopher Jean Baudrillard's term), by omnipotent media brain-washing machine? Whether the existence of modern people is entirely determined by the "a priori" format?
Implementing the Sunland project I’ve become to realize one thing: nothing will be done unless you start doing it yourself. People, who acquainted with Sunland project, divided into three categories. First group considers it as a sort of hoax, makes fun at Sunland. These people can't bring us any disquiet. As a great freedomfighter Mahatma Gandhi once said: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”. Another group of people considers Sunland quite well, but from the standpoint of outside observers. And finally the third group fully supports the project, but obviously they aren't ready (or not ready at the moment) to take a direct part. Obviously, the first step into the future must to be done by the initiators of Sunland project. So, I with a few my companions are going to a voyage to Oeno Island by yacht. We'll land there and starting to settle the place for ourselves and for the next sunlanders.
At the moment there is only one problem - we have two preliminary arrangements but both of them concern the sailing trip not early than the spring of the next, 2010 year. This ocean class yachts intend to go to Pacific passing by South America. It's important to note that the first sunlanders will not be plain passengers but they are members of the crew, therefore they bear all difficulties and shared all dangers of a risky maritime voyage. But certainly, we'd like to arrive on Sunland location much earlier. So, I would be very grateful if someone could suggest us any other variants. It's no need to stay with us on Oeno Island, suffice it to land us there.
“Suum cuique” (to each his own). If those, who already can not separate their life from show, eager to see a show, we even might be able to give this one for them (for eg, turn to the TV companies with the offer of reality show project or simply make a film about the expedition and life on the uninhabited island). Of course, all the earned money will be sent to the Sunland community budget.
The Truth, the Life, the Freedom are hereabouts. All you need to reach them - make a step forward...
