The three men did a year inside for a crime that didn't happen AND were then given an ASBO on top.

Looks like the correct plea is NOT GUILTY.

Waste of money

29.06.2009 23:32

What a disgusting waste of 5million at a time when everyone is feeling the pinch and hospitals can't provide the over they should be providing. What a waste of Police time when people in genuine need aren't given the support we (the police) should be giving them.

Well done to the Judge for being brave enough to make an honest decission. His hands were tied because of the guilty plea and a 5 mile exclusion CRASBO won't affect the lives of any involved.

Shame on NETCU for wasting more taxpayers money. Maybe a Freedom of Information act to find out how many millions those on the gravy train in NETCU have spent. (A suggestion - ask about the travel time situation and how NETCU often travel at weekends so they get extra pay) I hear that next years budget is to be tightened for them and they are worried about the lack of jollies to the US for 'liason'.

Take this down

Please can this be taken down as there is a reporting ban on the outcome of our sentencing, and we are still unsure if this has been lifted yet.
